W A Pinn & Sons is a second generation family firm of antiques dealers run by Keith and Gill Pinn. We have a very small stock of Georgian and earlier furniture and a large selection of antique metalware, treen, candlesticks and other small items. We continue my father's tradition of always trying to have "something interesting and unusual in stock". All stock is carefully selected for authenticity, merit and interest. We pride ourselves on having a wide range of goods, some higher value pieces, but including lower priced antiques which have some particular feature that lifts them out of the ordinary
Keith and Gill closed the shop in Sible Hedingham in 2015 and now run the business from our home in a village near Bury St Edmunds.
We have retired from membership of the British Antiques Dealers Association and no longer exhibit at major Antiques Fairs but now show at several smaller events in London and the provinces.
Keith Pinn was Chairman of the metalwork vetting committee at the Olympia Antiques Fairs for many years and has vetted brass and base metals at numerous other Antiques Fairs including the Grosvenor House Fair and the Masterpiece Fair. He is also a former Chairman of the Antique Metalware Society and a leading authority on the rare Chinese alloy Paktong and author of the seminal work of the same name.
Gill and Keith are members of the of the Regional Furniture Society and take an active part in many of the society's meetings and events.
